OPERATINGLAYER

OPERATINGLAYER

AI is becoming the operating layer.

We build everyday applications that optimize how you work. Each one also moves us toward something bigger: AI as a new operating layer for how we live and work, connecting the dots between our tools.

See what we're building
[ 02 · Where it started ]

It began as friction.

For a long time I worked side-by-side with Claude and other AI tools, every day, on real work. The power was obvious. But so was the friction: context lost between apps, devices that couldn't talk to each other, software that forced me to adapt to it instead of the other way around.

That friction kept nagging at me. It felt less like a set of missing features and more like a sign that the whole shape of our tools is about to change, that AI could be the new kernel everything else is built around, not just a feature pinned to the side.

[ 03 · The shift ]

A step beyond integration.

We're closer than ever to seeing AI as an operating layer, one that helps us run our daily lives and our work by connecting our devices and communicating between them without our interference. It changes how we interact with our tech, and how our tech interacts with itself.

01

Beyond integration

Bolting a chatbot onto an app is integration. An operating layer is different: intelligence sits underneath everything, and every capability is arranged around it.

02

Devices that talk

Your machine, your phone, your tools coordinate and communicate with each other, handing off context and acting on your behalf without your constant interference.

03

Software adapts to you

The relationship flips. Instead of you learning the interface, the software learns you, your context, your preferences, your way of working.

04

Life & work in the background

The point isn't a smarter assistant you babysit. It's that more of your day and your work simply runs, quietly, in the background, the way it should.

[ 04 · What we build ]

We connect the dots.

That future doesn't arrive in one leap. It's built out of small, connective pieces, workflows, skill files, and software that let your tools coordinate and adapt around you. SentientsLab makes those pieces. Mesh and Hivemind are the first.

[ 05 · Closing ]

Software should adapt to you, not the other way around.

We're building toward that, one connective piece at a time. If it resonates, come build it with us.
